Cyber & Electronic Warfare Situational Understanding

Establishing geospatial as the common language® to communicate situational understanding across the multi-domain battlespace

In conflict with a near-peer adversary, seamless integration of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) capabilities is critical to understanding the battlespace and mission success. To achieve this, our customers need coordinated mission planning, situational awareness, and a common situational understanding across all domains.

Reinventing Geospatial is using geospatial information and technologies as the common language to ensure the commander understands what it is, where it is, when it is, and what impact it has to enable an understanding across the battle space. We are developing mission planning solutions across multi-domains, including Cyber/Electronic Warfare (EW), to enable our forces to leverage their advantages in the field. Outperforming our adversaries in all domains is non-negotiable; geospatial is the answer.

Our adversaries continue to leverage Cyber/EW operations in their attempt to gain the C5ISR advantage over allied units. Providing our commanders with a geospatial-based understanding of effects from adversarial Cyber/EW operations enables the commander to quickly visualize and understand the impacts to the mission and the battlespace, which enables the right decisions at the right time for mission success.

Our teams are tackling tough problems such as:

  • Multi-domain situational awareness and understanding
  • Geospatially-integrated cyber situational awareness
  • Cyber situational understanding
  • Cyber/EW mission planning
  • Cyber/EW effects on battlespace operations

Our solution teams use a variety of open source and commercial software technologies, including:

  • NASA WorldWind
  • Esri GeoEvent
  • Kali Linux Penetration Testing Toolkit
  • Software Defined Radio
