Reinventing Geospatial®, Inc. (RGi®) recently sent a group of our talented software engineers to the University of Maryland (UMD) Computer Science Career and Internship Fair on February 20th. Our engineers met and led engaging discussions with more than 70 undergrad students interested in securing future learning opportunities in the engineering and geospatial fields.

RGi is proud to announce that our CEO, Steve Gillotte has been named to the Virginia Tech Computer Science Department’s Advisory Board. While in this role, Steve will advise the department head on initiatives and overall direction of the department, and engage with current students to encourage and enhance their educational experience. “As a Virginia Tech CS alum, it feels great to give back to the organization that was so foundational to my own career,” Steve said. “I’ve always been passionate about education and helping the professional development of students, so it’s an honor to be a part of this distinguished group.”
