Jim serves as a Senior Software Engineer/Architect for Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi), with nearly 20 years of experience supporting various DoD agencies. He has extensive expertise in Cloud development and has worked on multiple domains across the government and commercial sectors.
Jim is also a People Manager at RGi, and prides himself on building company culture and mentoring early-career developers.
Earlier in his career, Jim served as a tech lead at Evans and Chambers Technology and worked on research prototypes with IC leadership at Booz Allen Hamilton.
In Jim’s spare time he enjoys:
- Playing softball and helping run a charity softball league in the DC area
- Showing no mercy at board games
- Watching local sports (when they aren’t awful)
- Relaxing at home with his wife and pets
Jim is an NC State alum with Bachelors’ degrees in Computer and Electrical Engineering.
