RGi’ers sort and pack a record 2,500 food packs for children in need

Reinventing Geospatial®, Inc.’s (RGi’s®) partnership with Food For Others and its Power Pack Program (P3) continues to grow, as a group of RGi’ers recently spent an afternoon volunteering at the organization’s warehouse in Fairfax, VA.

Our RGi volunteers helped sort, quality check and pack more than 2,500 P3 packs that will go to young students in the community who are at risk of hunger between school meals. Each P3 pack contains two breakfast items, two lunch items, two dinner items, two snacks, and two drinks.

Separate from this event and since 2017, RGi has donated, packed, and delivered more than 3,000 P3 packs, representing more than 4 tons of food.

“Creating an immediate impact in our community is an important part of our mission,” said RGi CEO Stephen Gillotte. “I’m thrilled to continue our support of Food For Others and their role in helping students focus on their education and not their hunger.”
