RGi wins new contract to provide geospatial and software engineering support

Reinventing Geospatial®, Inc. (RGi®) has been selected to provide geospatial analysis and software development support for a national security customer. Under this contract, RGi provides geospatial, dashboard, data visualization, and software engineering expertise to missions and operations across the customer’s mission area. Our work also includes a variety of GIS analysis and engineering tasks and activities, including:

  • Design and implementation of new applications
  • Design of new mission specific data visualization techniques and applications
  • Comprehensive analysis of disparate near-real time data feeds in support of mission operations and decision making
  • Geospatial database management expertise
  • Development of geospatial products, including reports, statistical analyses, cartographic layouts, infographics, and dashboards

RGi names Brian Loggins as Chief Growth Officer

Reinventing Geospatial®, Inc. (RGi®) is excited to announce the creation of a new Chief Growth Officer (CGO) position, naming Brian Loggins as the inaugural CGO. Brian’s focus will be on leading all business development efforts and the corporate strategy to drive the company’s growth in GEOINT, AI/ML, and C5ISR.

Brian joined RGi in 2019 and has served as the company’s Director of Business Development and Strategic Growth, leading RGi’s Business Development, Capture and Proposal functions.

“Brian is perfect for this new role, given his proven leadership and demonstrated track record leading and winning major contracts across federal agencies in his extended career,” said Stephen Gillotte, RGi’s CEO. “These are exciting times for RGi, and under Brian’s leadership we are transforming our business and accelerating the expansion and growth of our company.”

Prior to joining RGi, Brian held several leadership positions at Northrop Grumman after serving in the U.S. Army for 21 years in various command and staff positions.

RGi awarded geospatial project follow-on to support Army’s Field Artillery Tactical Decision System (AFATDS)

Reinventing Geospatial®, Inc. (RGi®) was recently awarded a task order contract to support US Army’s Program Manager – Mission Command and provide the next generation maps for the AFATDS application. 3rd annual RGi Scholarship awarded to Beth Wiberg

Reinventing Geospatial®, Inc. (RGi®) is honored to announce that Beth Wiberg has been selected as the recipient of the 3rd annual $10,000 RGi Scholarship for Geospatial and Engineering, given in partnership with The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF).

Beth is a senior at The Ohio State University, where she is on track to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in GIS in December 2020.

Over her college career, Beth has sharpened her mapping, geocoding, and data analysis skills as a GIS Intern for AECOM and a GIS Research Assistant for the College of Social Work. As an Intern for Blue Raster, she also honed her skills in data visualization and the storytelling aspects of GIS. Outside of her GIS work, Beth spent three years serving in The Ohio State Army ROTC, where she went through rigorous physical and mental training, learned about military structure, and enhanced her leadership skills.

“I am thrilled to have Beth as our 2020 RGi Scholarship recipient,” said RGi CEO Stephen Gillotte. “She is the ideal blend of student, leader, and humanitarian, which aligns perfectly with the core values of our company. She is also a self-described “big thinker,” and I look forward to her many contributions to the GEOINT community and our nation.”

RGi offers 3rd annual $10,000 needs-based scholarship

Reinventing Geospatial®, Inc. (RGi®) has again partnered with The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) to offer its third annual scholarship as part of the 2020 USGIF Scholarship Program.

The $10,000 RGi Scholarship for Geospatial and Engineering will be awarded to an undergraduate who demonstrates financial need and is committed to becoming competitive and constructive in the geospatial and engineering disciplines.

“RGi has a long history of supporting students, and we are thrilled to continue these efforts with USGIF through our annual RGi Scholarship,” said RGi CEO Stephen Gillotte. “Now more than ever, we need to continue to build a diverse base of students who are passionate about the future of GEOINT.”

Every year, USGIF awards scholarships of various amounts to exceptional students studying the geospatial sciences and related fields. In total, USGIF has awarded more than $1.3 million in scholarships since the program began in 2004. “USGIF and RGi have partnered to recognize and support those students with a geospatial and engineering background who are committed to becoming competitive in this market,” said USGIF VP of Academic Affairs Dr. Camelia Kantor.
